Privacy policy

1. Who we are and scope

Hirune is an independent game studio operated by Francisco Monaco. This policy applies to Sudoku by Hirune, Minesweeper by Hirune and Solitaire by Hirune (the “Games”), and the website hirune.games.

Not every Game or version includes every service mentioned below. Practices depend on the app, platform and version. Our contact address is privacy@hirune.games. Additional publisher details are available in our Legal notice.

2. Accounts and local game data

Our Games do not require a Hirune account or login. Depending on the Game, your device may store game progress, moves, statistics, daily-challenge results, preferences and the status of an optional Remove Ads purchase.

Hirune does not upload this local gameplay information to a Hirune account or gameplay server. It generally remains on your device until you erase the app's data or uninstall it, subject to your device's backup settings.

3. Privacy-focused analytics

Some Games use TelemetryDeck (TelemetryDeck GmbH) to understand general gameplay and improve the product. Depending on the Game, this may include events such as starting or completing a game, mode, difficulty, duration, mistakes, moves, hints, use of features or changes to settings.

Technical information may include the app and operating-system versions, device type, and an anonymized app-installation identifier. Hirune does not intentionally submit names, email addresses, payment details, contacts or precise location as analytics properties.

TelemetryDeck explains that identifiers are anonymized before transmission and IP addresses are not stored on its servers. See its Privacy Policy and Privacy FAQ. We use these events for product improvement, not to create cross-app advertising profiles.

4. Advertising

Some versions of our Games may display occasional interstitial advertisements provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). Where active, Google and its partners may process IP address, approximate location inferred from network data, device or advertising identifiers, app and device information, diagnostics and ad impressions or interactions to serve, measure, secure and improve advertising.

Whether advertising is personalized depends on the applicable configuration, your choices, your device and legal requirements. See Google's Privacy Policy and information about Google advertising.

5. Advertising consent and tracking choices

Where required, Games using AdMob may use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect and manage advertising privacy choices. A consent form may appear before ads are requested, depending on your region and previous selections. Where provided, you can revisit those choices in the Game's settings.

On Apple devices, App Tracking Transparency is a separate system permission. If a Game requests it, you can manage it under iOS/iPadOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Refusing personalized advertising does not prevent you from playing.

6. Purchases and Remove Ads

Where offered, Remove Ads is an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase for the relevant Game, not a subscription. It does not automatically remove advertising from other Hirune games.

Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Hirune does not receive your full card or bank information. The Game may receive product IDs, purchase status and transaction confirmations required to enable or restore purchases.

7. Website contact form and emails

When you send us a message through hirune.games, we collect the information you enter: first name, last name, email address, affected Game and, if provided, platform, device, operating-system version and message content. Email correspondence may also include technical headers needed for delivery.

We use this information only to receive, manage and answer your request, and to handle related support correspondence. The form requires your agreement to this processing; the legal basis for the information you submit is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Where necessary, we may retain limited records to comply with legal obligations or defend legal claims.

Providing the fields marked as required is necessary for us to process your request through the form. You can also contact us directly at privacy@hirune.games.

Messages are stored in our email service Purelymail and retained only as long as needed to handle related correspondence, subject to applicable legal obligations. Please avoid including sensitive personal information unless necessary for your request.

8. Website hosting and spam protection

Our website and contact endpoint are hosted using Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may process technical connection and security information, including IP address, request metadata and browser or device information, for delivery, performance and protection against abuse.

To protect the contact form, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It evaluates security signals to distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic. We use these checks to protect the website and prevent spam. The legal basis for necessary security processing is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a secure website. 9. Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website visits, page views, referring websites and basic website performance, including Core Web Vitals. Depending on the service configuration, the reports may include pages visited, referring sites, browser and device categories, approximate country and performance timings. This helps us improve the website and identify technical problems.

Cloudflare Web Analytics uses a lightweight performance beacon. According to Cloudflare, it does not use analytics cookies or browser storage and does not fingerprint or track individual visitors across websites. A visitor's IP address may be processed transiently as part of normal network communication, but Cloudflare states that it does not retain it in its Web Analytics databases or logs.

We use aggregate measurements to maintain and improve our website. To the extent that any personal data is processed, our legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in measuring website performance and improving the experience. 10. Website cookies

Hirune does not intentionally use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on its website. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to measure site usage. Cloudflare and Turnstile may use strictly necessary security technologies or cookies to operate the website and prevent abuse. We do not use them to deliver personalized advertising on hirune.games.

If we introduce non-essential cookies or other tracking technologies in the future, we will update this policy and provide consent controls where required.

11. Providers and international processing

Depending on your use of our Games and website, relevant providers may include TelemetryDeck (app analytics), Google (ads and ad consent), Apple and Google (in-app purchases), Cloudflare (website delivery, security, anti-spam and web analytics), and Purelymail (email delivery and storage).

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such processing is governed by applicable legal requirements and the privacy arrangements or safeguards relevant to each provider. Their own privacy notices describe their roles, locations and practices in further detail.

12. Retention and security

Local gameplay data remains on your device as described above. App analytics, advertising, consent and purchase information are retained by the applicable services according to their policies and legal requirements. Cloudflare retains aggregate website analytics according to its own retention practices and service settings. Hirune keeps support correspondence only while it is reasonably needed for the relevant request or related obligations.

We take reasonable measures to protect our services and correspondence, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure. Because certain analytics information is anonymized, Hirune may not be able to associate it with an identifiable person for individual retrieval or deletion.

13. Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. Contact privacy@hirune.games to exercise your rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory data protection authority, including the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). Certain requests cannot apply to genuinely anonymized data that cannot be attributed to you.

14. Children

Our Games do not require a user account or ask for contact information during gameplay. We do not knowingly seek directly identifying personal information from children through the Games. Advertising and analytics are subject to applicable platform rules and protections. The website contact form is intended for people who can lawfully provide the requested consent; if necessary, a parent or guardian should contact us instead.

15. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the Games, website or our data practices change. The most recent version will be available at hirune.games/privacy/, with an updated date.
